Hi, I'm Erin Alys! I grew up in Atascadero, CA and (somewhat) recently moved to Chicago.
This theatre community rules and I'm genuinely thrilled to be a part of it.
I'm an actor, intimacy director, educator and puppet enthusiast. My education is pretty solely in theatre with an MFA in Acting and New Work (Ohio State University) and a BFA in Acting (AMDA LA & NYC). I recently taught Viewpoints and performed a non-verbal solo as the Artist in Residence at the University of Wyoming. Prior to that, I was on the national tour of Jurassic World Live, produced by Feld Entertainment and NBC Universal.

"A charming devil arrives in the quiet village of Edmonton to bargain for the souls of its residents. Elizabeth should be his easiest target, having been labeled a “witch”, but her soul is not so readily bought. As the devil returns to convince her – and then returns again – unexpected passions flare, alliances are formed, and the village is forever changed.
"In the heart of the Bible Belt, a local theatre announces it will stage Tony Kushner’s Angels in America—complete with seven seconds of male nudity—and the city goes into a frenzy. Based on actual events, Eric Coble’s Southern Rapture turns this civic eruption into a wickedly funny satire about artistic freedom."

Tender Naplam by Philip Ridley

"Tender Napalm is about two people fighting to survive unthinkable grief. Their reality is grounded in memory, dream, and desire, and they navigate it the only way they can: through the language of touch, imagination, and play. The violence in the text is not cruelty but collision. It is what happens when mourning presses a body against its limits and demands it keep going."
